Ridger KA-10T

The ridger is towed on the tractor's hitch. Work can be commenced quickly and safely. The tractor can also be used in other production phases, which saves on tractor acquisition costs.

Ridger KA-10 T can be used to create two ridges in a strip of 18 meters and a third run can be done to combine the two ridges into one in the middle of the strip.

Peat production machines do not have any devices that would help to level the field. However, ridger KA-10 T does. KA-10 T levels the surface of the field so that ridger KA-10 T should be used immediately when starting on a new field.

High-quality peat production is easy on an even and level field. Miller helps to create layers of equal thicknesses. Turning works out when the whole detached layer is of an equal thickness. Drying will occur evenly when the layer is of the same thickness. When it rains, water doesn't gather in puddles but dries fast and production can be commenced quickly. The normal shape of peat strips is also retained when the whole strip dries evenly.

The ridger's ridge width is adjustable based on the detached milled layer, i.e. the rear opening of the ridger is adjusted hydraulically so that there is always a rain-proof ridge regardless of the milled layer.

One-crop production does not come with a risk of torrential rain like multi-crop ridging.
